1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PetSo Sdn. Bhd., a company registered in Malaysia with its address at Unit 3A-01A, Glo Damansara, 699, Jln Damansara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ("PetSo", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the PetSo mobile application, the PetSo website and the PetSo Signal device (together, the "Services").

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a PetSo account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. The Services

PetSo provides wellness intelligence for pets through the Signal hardware device and the PetSo app. The PetSo Kit includes the Signal device, two standard straps, a magnetic charging cable, 12 months of full PetSo app access, and a 12-month replacement warranty on hardware defects.

4. Not a veterinary or medical service

PetSo provides informational insights only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for any concern about your pet's health. Do not rely on PetSo in an emergency.

5. Subscriptions, fees & renewals

  • The PetSo Kit is sold for MYR 799 and includes 12 months of full app access.
  • After the included 12 months, app access continues on a subscription basis at MYR 500/year (billed annually) or MYR 50/month, until you cancel.
  • Premium straps and accessories are sold separately.
  • All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or under our published refund policy.

6. Orders, shipping & warranty

Orders are subject to availability and acceptance. Title and risk pass to you upon delivery. The Signal device includes a 12-month replacement warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. Misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised repair and water ingress beyond rated limits are not covered.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, modify or tamper with the Signal device or app firmware.
  • Use the Services to harm any animal or person.
  • Interfere with the security, integrity or availability of the Services.
  • Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Services without written consent.

8. Intellectual property

PetSo, the Signal device, the app, our logos, designs and content are owned by PetSo or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.

9. User content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, notes, pet profiles). You grant PetSo a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services.

10. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with third-party services (e.g. payment processors, map providers, app stores). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetSo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to PetSo in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Kuala Lumpur shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
